Sevan Multi-Site Solutions announces new hire, promotions

Downers Grove-based Sevan Multi-Site Solutions announced several staff appointments:

• Rob Bassler, senior vice president of operations has joined Sevan and will focus on the company's lines of business, reconstruction and construction. Bassler is an expert in construction operations, finance and real estate development. He is a Lendlease alumni where he spent 15 years in various roles including vice president of general managers, operations director, finance operations director and superintendent. He earned a Master's in Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from Purdue University in Indiana.

• Team members Jim Duffy, John Garcia, Michelle Kretz and Marc Sierra were all promoted to vice president.

Duffy, vice president of operations, joined Sevan in 2016 and oversees all BP projects, which include minor, major and new site developments. Duffy has also been assisting in the establishment of Sevan's UK business and office, which opened in January.

Garcia, vice president of safety, joined Sevan in 2011 and heads the Safety First program. He brings extensive experience in program management and facilities management, quality control and site safety with large developments, both military and private. Garcia is a retired U.S. Air Force and has an educational background in civil engineering.

Kretz, vice president of legal, joined Sevan in 2017 and supports all contract negotiations, directs outside counsel, implements policies and procedures and ensures legal compliance across Sevan. Kretz has also been guiding Sevan's UK team on matters regarding international law.

Sierra, vice president of operations, joined Sevan in 2015 and leads McDonald's operations in multiple regions. Prior to joining Sevan, Sierra spent 15 years at Lendlease managing the military housing privatization program.
