ROSEMONT -- US Foods Holding Corp. announced Timothy Connolly will join the company as executive vice president and chief supply chain officer, effective May 13.

Connolly will oversee the US Foods supply chain organization, including safety, warehousing, transportation, supply chain strategy, operations, continuous improvement, and labor relations. He will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Pietro Satriano.

Most recently, Connolly served as the senior vice president of operations at Uline and, prior to that, he was the chief operating officer at Essendant, where he oversaw a network of more than 70 distribution centers. He also spent 10 years managing supply chain operations at Cardinal Health.

"Tim joins the executive team with more than 30 years of experience leading large supply chain organizations," said Satriano. "He has a track record of improving safety, service and productivity by engaging front-line employees and he will be instrumental in helping us deliver on our 'Great Food. Made Easy.' strategy."
