Langlais named Sea Ray Boats president

METTAWA - The Brunswick Boat Group, a unit of Brunswick Corp., announcedt Steve Langlais has been named president - Sea Ray Boats.

He succeeds Brad Anderson, who left the company.

Langlais, currently President - Ft. Wayne Operations for Brunswick, will continue to report to Brunswick Boat Group President Huw Bower.

Langlais joined Brunswick in 2016 as President - Princecraft Boats. He assumed his current responsibilities at Ft. Wayne, an important production center for Brunswick's popular pontoon brands, including Harris, in 2018. During his tenure at Ft. Wayne, Langlais has overseen a number of strategic investments and process improvements to further strengthen operations, improve quality, and refine Brunswick's pontoon portfolio, leading to record results in 2018.

Brunswick has begun the process to identify Langlais' successor. In the interim, Jorge Valdes, vice president - supply chain, will lead the Ft. Wayne operations team, reporting to Bower.
