Discover named Best Place to Work for IT

RIVERWOODS - Discover has been recognized by IDG's Computerworld as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in IT.

It is the 16th year the company has been recognized as a best place to work for information technology professionals.

Discover ranks No. 9 among large companies on this year's list. Computerworld developed the list based on feedback from IT professionals at small, mid-size and large companies. The evaluation is based on company offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, training and retention.

Discover continues to provide a competitive benefits package to all of its employees including tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, 401(k) match and PTO package, commuter benefits, and a flexible work environment. The company provides various training programs to help foster career growth. In addition, through the Discover College Commitment program launched last year, eligible employees have the opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree at no cost to select universities and programs on day one of employment.

"At Discover, we recognize the importance of a culture that embraces collaboration and creativity," said Glenn Schneider, executive vice president and chief information officer at Discover.
