Helm Tool to relocate HQ to Schaumburg
SCHAUMBURG - CBRE recently represented Helm Tool Co. in the acquisition of 1420 S. Wright Blvd. in Schaumburg, a 93,477-square-foot property that will serve as the company's new headquarters.
Terms of the sale were not announced.
Founded in 1977, Helm Tool Co. specializes in tool building for the plastics industry, die making and plastic injection molding. The firm will relocate from three area properties - two in Elk Grove Village and one in Des Plaines - after completing significant renovations to the new Schaumburg location.
Cal Payne, Matt Mulvihill, Kevin Segerson and Philip DeBeor of CBRE represented Helm Tool Co. in the transaction. Jason Talanian of Glenwood Commercial represented ownership.
"This new facility will be an excellent centralized location for Helm Tool to combine all of its area operations," said CBRE's Payne. "With its new workspace and all of its employees under one roof, the firm will recognize many new efficiencies."
