New doggy day care coming to Arlington Heights

A new doggy day care and overnight boarding facility is coming to Arlington Heights.

Dogtopia will move into four vacant units within the Southpoint Shopping Center at the southeast intersection of Rand and Palatine roads. The 5,700-square-foot business, immediately east of Laser Quest, will include three large playrooms, a spa room for grooming services and a kennel room. There will also be a 750-square‐foot outdoor play area that will be enclosed by an 8-foot-tall privacy screen.

ToMac Holdings, a franchisee of Dogtopia, has a lease agreement for the shopping center space. The firm received a special use permit and two variations from the village board this week.
