CCU earns 'Best in State' honors from Forbes

WAUKEGAN - Consumers Credit Union earned "Best in State" honors from Forbes Media for the second consecutive year.

Forbes Media conducts a national survey to determine which financial institutions have the most satisfied customers and members. Forbes partners with research firm Statista to survey more than 25,000 people in the U.S. about their financial services relationships.

In awarding the honor, Forbes Media said CCU "has provided unparalleled financial services to members since 1930. The credit union offers a complete menu of products and services, including checking, debit and credit cards, vehicle loans, consumer loans, savings, money market and certificates of deposit, along with a complete range of mortgage products."

The banks and credit unions were rated on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five subdimensions (trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice). Only 3.1% of the financial institutions qualified for the award nationwide.

"Consumers Credit Union has an ongoing commitment to member satisfaction, and we are very pleased to see those efforts reflected in the results of the Forbes Media survey," said Sean M. Rathjen, CCU's CEO. "
