Toms Price opens Rug Studio at 3 stores

WHEATON - Toms Price announced the recent opening of three rug galleries at its Lincolnshire, Skokie and Wheaton locations.

The Rug Studio carries thousands of rugs and is centrally located in each store, merchandised by price for ease in shopping. Rug specialists are also available to assist customers with hand-knotted and machine rug options at all price levels.

"While we always carried rugs at Toms Price, we are responding to the growing trend and demand for households with hardwood flooring," said Lori Stengren, Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising for Toms Price. "These homeowners want to make a statement with their floor coverings and rugs are a great starting point."

While all Toms Price locations carry rugs and employ floor covering specialists, The Rug Studio is open specifically at the Lincolnshire, Skokie and Wheaton stores. The Rug Studio offers specialty installations like staircase runners; wall-to-wall carpeting and provides specialized cleaning and restoration of hand-knotted and antique rugs. There are also 10,000 additional rugs on kiosks within the stores to peruse.

Since 1908, Toms Price remains the oldest furniture store in the Chicago area. Today, Toms Price remains family-owned and is in its fourth generation having evolved to a design firm within a furniture store
