PNC tabs Vrchota corporate banking chief

PNC Bank announced today Michael J. Vrchota has been promoted to head of corporate banking and market executive for Illinois.

Vrchota will oversee the leaders and relationship managers of three business lines, serving clients across the state in the large corporate, middle and commercial markets. Vrchota brings two decades of experience in financial strategy, credit, treasury and banking to his new role. Most recently, he served as PNC's group sales leader, managing the middle market and corporate banking teams in Chicago. His performance and leadership contributed significantly to the market's growth over the past six years.

"Mike's appointment underscores the strength of our leadership team in Illinois. We clearly recognize his capabilities, talent, expertise and contributions, and we look forward to much continued success in this market." Said Scott Swanson, PNC regional president for Illinois.

Vrchota holds a MBA from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate from Indiana University.
