New accounting firm opens

GENEVA - Melissa Davidson, CPA, and Kelly J. Pargman, CPA, opened a new accounting firm, Davidson Pargman & Company, LLC.

Prior to founding the firm, both worked in public accounting at Borhart Spellmeyer & Company and Porte Brown. Davidson has 14 years of experience managing accounting service, audit, review and tax clients. Pargman has managed audit, review, and tax clients for the past 24 years. They each have an extensive audit, general business consulting and tax background and take pride in providing the highest level of service.

"Our focus is on timely, quality service and taking a personal interest in truly understanding our clients' operations to address their business challenges and opportunities," said Davidson.

Davidson earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Northern Illinois University in 2005 and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 2010. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society. Pargman earned her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics at the University of Illinois in 1995 and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1997. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Illinois CPA Society.
