DeVilbiss named CAA board president

Kellie DeVilbiss has been named president of the Chicagoland Apartment Association's board of directors, a trade association representing thousands of apartment industry professionals.

DeVilbiss serves as a principal and chief operating officer at VennPoint Real Estate, where she oversees management, deal sourcing for over $200 million in assets, as well as implementing growth initiatives throughout the organization. She has more than 30 years of progressive experience building and leading profitable, market-leading firms.

DeVilbiss was previously a regional vice president with Pinnacle, executing the business plan for more than 4,000 units in her region. Prior to Pinnacle, she served in the role of Presidentfor Jupiter Communities, where she transformed an in-house asset management group to a fee-based service organization managing over $1 billion in assets.

She attended the University of Illinois-Chicago where she studied communications.
