Good Sam launches nationwide RV storage network

Recreational vehicle owners organization Good Sam, a division of Lincolnshire-based Camping Word Holdings, announced Thursday it is launching the Good Sam RV Storage Network, which will recognize RV storage facilities that provide high standards of service and amenities.

The network will also serve as a liaison between small RV business owners and the community, company officials said. Good Sam representatives will begin visiting RV storage facilities around the country to discuss the program and establish an initial rating system based on characteristics such as security, access, cleanliness, and other amenities.

RV storage facilities in the U.S. and Canada will be designated a "Good Sam RV Storage Facility" and join the network if they meet and maintain the criteria, including offering value-add services or discounts to Good Sam members.

"By creating a nationwide network of RV storage facilities and working with these facilities to provide additional value-add services to our members, we will make it easier for RVers to access storage facilities in their area that best suits their needs and provide RV storage owners access to new customers." said Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World Holdings.

Camping World Chief Operating Officer Tamara Ward added the company will use its member database of more than 10 million to connect members with storage facilities that meet the standards of safety, security and value.

"Our job as a company is to bridge those parties together seamlessly and this program will do that," Ward said.

The listings of Good Sam RV Storage facilities will be included in our Good Sam Guide Series publication this fall, as well as on GoodSam.com
