Broadwind appoints retiring CEO as board chairman

CICERO - Broadwind, a diversified manufacturer of specialized components, announced Stephanie K. Kushner has been appointed chairman of the company's board of directors

Kushner will retire from her current role as Broadwind president and CEO on March 1, but will continue to serve on the board of directors.

She will succeed current Chairman David P. Reiland, who will remain a director and continue to serve as chairman of the audit committee. Cary B. Wood, who has been serving on the company's board of directors since 2016, will serve as lead independent director.

Eric B. Blashford, who will succeed Kushner as president and CEO, has been appointed to the board, effective March 1.

Broadwind manufactures structures, equipment and components for clean technology, including wind energy, and other specialized applications.
