Baxter & Woodman names new board member

CRYSTAL LAKE — Baxter & Woodman has appointed Rebecca Travis, PE, ENV SP to its board of directors.

Travis oversees the firm's Florida operations and guides staff from the region's four offices. She has been instrumental in analyzing and improving organizational process and efficiency leading to the region's record growth in 2019. Travis also directs the firm's Florida business development efforts by fostering existing client relationships, engaging with prospective clients, and identifying growth opportunities throughout the region.

During her 35 year career, Travis has held both managerial and technical roles. She continues to lead project teams in the planning, design, management, and construction of public works and private developer projects.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University.
