McShane completes senior living community

NAPERVILLE - McShane Construction Co. recently completed construction of Avenida Naperville, an active senior living community in Naperville for adults 62 and older.

Avenida Naperville marks the firm's 14th senior/active living assignment in the past five years.

Designed by Meeks + Partners, the property incorporates a total of 146 apartment homes across six two- and three-story, wood-frame buildings. Intended to be representative of local historic neighborhoods, the buildings feature an attractive mix of brick and stone veneer with Hardie lap and panel siding.

Amenities include a clubhouse with a bistro, fitness and yoga studios, a theater, library, private dining room and creative arts studio. Outside, residents can enjoy spacious courtyards that feature a swimming pool and spa, barbecue and dining areas, a game lawn and a yoga lawn.
