Q: Describe your company.

A: We specialize in distributing superior quality commercial LED lighting at affordable prices. (I consider ourselves the "Aldi" of electrical industry.)

Q: Do you plan to hire any additional staff or make any significant capital investments in your company in the next year?

A: Yes, we brought in a president and vice president of sales this year. We will be adding two account managers and one customer car team member.

Q: What will your company's main challenges be in the next year?

A: Streamline our operations by adding a warehouse managing system, a third party logistics warehouse, and create a playbook for adding multiple locations. We have plan to launch three prototype locations this year. We are looking at add 5-10 locations next year.

Q: What's the hottest trend in your industry?

A: UVC lighting, Lighting controls, Solar PV system.

Q: If you had one tip to give to a rookie CEO, what would it be?

A: Understand your opportunities and spend time on extensive research.

Q: Do you have a business mantra?

A: Be laser focused on the top two to three opportunities.

Q: From a business outlook, who do you look up to?

A: Mark Cuban.

Q: What is one interesting fact about you or your company that most people may not know?

A: We sell top-tier brands such as Lithonia, Phillips, RAB and many others.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: Spend time with family and friends

A: "Thrive By Design: The Neuroscience That Drives High-Performance Cultures" by Don Rheem.

Q: What keeps you up at night?

A: Finding new opportunities.

Q: If you were not doing this job, what do you think you would be doing?

A: Doing consultation.

Q: What was your first paying job?

A: Being a pizza maker for Nancy's Pizzeria.

A: Wrigley Field.

Q: What is one funny thing that has happened to you in your career?

A: I went to college twice. My first degree is in respiratory therapy and my second degree is in accounting. However, I really enjoyed lighting without any experience in the electrical field.

A: I follow Elon Musk because of innovation and genius marketing moves and Mark Cuban because his interest in doing side hustles and how he invests in people and opportunities.
