Lavelle Law podcast series focuses on bankruptcy

PALATINE - Lavelle Law will debut a new podcast series, Bankruptcy Solutions, this month.

The seven-episode series will be a part of the firm's long-running Chicago's Legal Latte podcast.

Managing Partner Ted McGinn said the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on both businesses and individuals has caused a rise in bankruptcy filings. Bankruptcy Solutions will provide guidance regarding all types of filings, the considerations that should be taken and the ramifications of filing for bankruptcy protection.

McGinn will be a featured contributor to the series along with Timothy Hughes, a Shareholder at Lavelle Law who leads the Bankruptcy practice group at the firm.

The first episode will be available today, with subsequent episodes being produced through Sept. 15. Topics include bankruptcy options for individuals, protecting assets in a bankruptcy, understanding Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 filings, discharging debts, business reorganization and corporate dissolution.
