The Inn remains a special place

We are thrilled to have reopened and have been welcoming guests back this summer! Our team is taking special care to ensure our guests and employees are safe with new protocols in place. Our masked employees are temperature checked at each shift, have increased sanitation guidelines especially on high touchable areas, offering hand sanitizer stations throughout, promoting social distancing and we hand out a lovely zipper bag at check in with a few masks and hand sanitizer. You will need your mask at the Inn as we do ask all guests to wear them in all public areas.

As I continue through this journey of uncertainty, I think the "new normal" will be about living life bigger and better and making every experience count. We will appreciate even more when someone remembers your name, your children's names and how you like your coffee. The Herrington Inn & Spa is such a place where you feel at home. Our return clients have referenced us as family or partners and we feel the same.

Our clients

"You knocked it out of the park ... The staff was both attentive and discreet during our meetings.

"From the 5-star dinner to the smiling faces at every turn ... we were impressed. Both the guest rooms and the meeting rooms, exceeded expectations. The location, on the Fox River and walking distance to our other dinner choice, was great."

"Alexander Lumber has had a complete buy out of the Herrington for their large annual meeting. Their staff are always attentive and helpful in planning and management of the meeting. Their consistent attention to detail and wonderful food make every meeting a pleasurable experience that our people look forward to. They want to stay at that place 'with the fireplace and milk & cookies at the end of every night.' Alexander Lumber views the Herrington Inn and Spa as more than just a hotel, they are our partners."

- Russ Kathrein president/CEO, and Cindy A Zitt, executive assistant

" ... a magnificent experience at the Herrington. Every person said this was our best retreat to date, raved about the property, the rooms, the food, and the Iron Chef activity. Every detail was handled seamlessly and you made it very easy for me as well. You are a great team and everyone at your property made us feel welcome and taken care of."
