Ruettiger appointed to Illinois Realtors board

Eddie Ruettiger, an agent with the Baird & Warner Plainfield office, has been selected to serve on the Illinois Realtors board of directors for a three-year term starting in 2021.

The organization announced six members are slated to serve on the board of directors, including four newcomers and two who are seeking subsequent terms in office. The candidates will be presented to the association's board at its September meeting.

Ruettiger, ABR, RENE, has served on numerous committees for Illinois Realtors over the last five years, including the RPAC and Government affairs committees and was a member of the 2016 Leadership Development Class. He also serves on the National Association of Realtors Federal Financing & Housing Policy Committee and the Housing Voucher Working Group.

In addition to those roles, Ruettiger is the state legislative contact for State Sen. Pat McGuire of Joliet, and is the president-elect for the Three Rivers Association of Realtors.
