Naperville property sold for automative uses

A 1.25-acre property along Route 59 in Naperville has been sold to an out-of-state buyer for $1.4 million, according to a news release from SVN Chicago Commercial.

The new owner intends to use the retail site for automotive purposes, officials said. The property at 24014 Showplace Drive/2643 Forgue Drive initially was intended to become a bank branch, but its location along the heavily traveled Route 59 corridor "made it a great fit for future automotive use," said Angelo Labriola, who represented the seller in the transaction.

The deal was closed in about 18 months, officials said.
