Jersey Mike's to open in Deerfield

Jersey Mike's Subs will celebrate the Sept. 30 opening of its first Deerfield location, 190 Waukegan Road, with a fundraiser to support Bounce Children's Foundation.

Mailers will be sent to 5,000 residents offering special deals to be redeemed through Oct. 4. For each redeemed coupon, Jersey Mike's will donate $1 to the charity.

"We are very excited to open up our Deerfield location and bring the Sub Above experience to the local community," said owner Mark Michalak. "For this opening, we are partnering with Bounce Children's Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to creating a supportive community for chronically ill children and their families."

Based on guidance from the CDC, Jersey Mike's dining room will be open with limited socially distant tables inside.

Guests can place takeout orders in-store or for pickup through the website or through the Jersey Mike's app. Delivery is available in most areas through the Jersey Mike's app.

The restaurant's hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
