Two promoted at Mowery & Schoenfeld

LINCOLNSHIRE - The accounting and advisory firm Mowery & Schoenfeld said it has promoted Stefan T. Beal to audit partner and Brian T. Figenholtz to tax partner. Both promotions will take effect as of Jan. 1, the company said.

"Both Brian and Stefan are wonderful assets for our firm. They are committed to supporting their teams, continual learning and the growth of our firm," said managing partner Jeff Mowery. "Adding these individuals to our firm leadership will strengthen our position in the market and allow us to continue to provide superior service to our clients."

Beal joined Mowery & Schoenfeld in November 2016 as an audit manager. He specializes in Transaction Advisory and in working with distribution and software organizations. "It is a tremendous opportunity to have a greater impact on the firm, our people and our clients," Beal said. "I look forward to continuing to make a difference."

Figenholtz joined Mowery & Schoenfeld in December 2016 as a senior tax manager. He specializes in working in the firm's private client tax practice, advising high net worth individuals and their families on estate, gift, trust and income tax planning opportunities. "I have always enjoyed being part of a team and taking leadership roles. Becoming part of the management team that will help shape the future of our firm brings a new, exciting challenge," Figenholtz said.
