Pulse Technology names Matt Kettering account executive

SCHAUMBURG - Pulse Technology, a company serving the IT, managed print services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest, has named Matt Kettering of McHenry an account executive.

In this role, Kettering will work with existing Pulse clients and develop new ones, helping to promote the growing company's line of printers, IT services, phones and hardware.

Kettering comes to Pulse after having worked in the office supply and office equipment industry. Most recently, he was a territory account executive with Quill, a Staples company, where his markets were educational and government accounts. Based in Lincolnshire, his territory included accounts on the East Coast in places such as Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. Prior to that, he was an account executive for the Waukegan-based Woodland Foods, a wholesaler providing dried spices and ingredients.

Kettering earned a degree from the College of Lake County and also studied at Northern Illinois University. Originally from Fox Lake, he and his wife have a 15-month old son and are expecting a second child.

Formerly Des Plaines Office Equipment, Pulse Technology is a leader in print management, network services and other office solutions, including furniture design and sales.
