Wynnchurch Capital adds third foam company
ROSEMONT - Following its recent purchase of Huntington Foam, Wynnchurch Capital LP this week announced its purchase of Insulation Corp. of America. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Insulation Corp. is a manufacturer of expanded polystyrene foam products for applications such as building insulation, infrastructure construction and packaging. It was founded in 1981 and based in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Wynnchurch Capital already owns Drew Foam Cos. Inc. in Arkansas and Huntington Foam LLC in South Carolina. The three companies will unite under one platform, Wynnchurch said.
