Industrial site sells for $7.1 million

WILLOWBROOK - A 142,000-square-foot industrial building located on 12 acres at 7409 S Quincy St. in Willowbrook recently sold for $7.1 million.

Paul Cawthon and Angelo Labriola of The Cawthon-Labriola Group of SVN | Chicago Commercial represented the seller in the transaction.

"There was extensive interest from developers as well as owner/users. The building is situated on 12-acres, which included a 4.89-acre land site for future development or expansion," Cawthon said in a news release. "The site's DuPage County location and proximity to Chicago along with almost immediate access to I-55 and I-294 made this a desirable location."

The existing tenant had a lease through Dec. 31 and was able to successfully vacate prior to the closing, SVN | Chicago Commercial said.
