Ridgeworth Roofing hires Matt Wehrle as a new project manager

FRANKFORT - Ridgeworth Roofing Co. Inc., a family-owned business specializing in commercial, institutional, condominium and industrial roofing, recently added Matt Wehrle as a new project manager.

In his new role, Wehrle works closely with Rod Petrick, Ridgeworth's president and owner, and Vice President Ryan Petrick to assist with the CAD program and attend pre-bid meetings.

"My experiences and background in roofing have prepared me to take on my new role at Ridgeworth," Wehrle said. "I applied to the company because of its long-standing commitment to quality, service and family-led values. I'm happy to be part of the team."

Wehrle began learning the trade during high school and college at a commercial roofing company. He first entered the roofing industry in 2001. The next year, he attended Quincy University's School of Business, earning his bachelor's degree in finance and then graduating in 2007 after earning his Master's degree in Business Administration.

Directly following his college graduation, he rejoined the roofing industry and began taking a lead role at the Joliet-based Anderson & Shah Roofing Inc., estimating and managing several company projects.

In addition to his education, Wehrle has served on the Chicago Roofing Contractors Association's trade show planning committee. He and his wife, Hannah, have a daughter and son.
