Even Hotel opens after $10 million renovation

TINLEY PARK - After months of renovating the existing Holiday Inn Hotel at the Tinley Park Convention Center, full rebranding efforts are now complete, and the newest member of the Even Hotels family has been unveiled. The hotel underwent a comprehensive $10 million renovation throughout 2020.

Meeting and convention attendees utilizing the Tinley Park Convention Center for their events will now be able to stay at the newly renovated Even Hotel. The convention center has 70,000 square feet of event space and 1,500 free parking spaces. It is the region's largest convention venue and has hosted a variety of both public and private events such as trade shows, national conventions and special events.

"Our team is thrilled to welcome Even Hotels to the Chicago Southland. This new hotel will be an asset, not only to Tinley Park, but to the entire Chicago Southland region. We are looking forward to inviting our meeting and event planners to this beautiful new space," said Mary Patchin, director of sales at the Chicago Southland Convention and Visitors Bureau.

First launched in 2012, Even Hotels is the fastest-growing brand within the International Hotel Group family. There are now 14 Even Hotels in the United States and an additional 30 are expected to open within the next year. The Tinley Park location is the first and only Even Hotel in Illinois.

Even Hotel Tinley Park consists of 202 guest rooms, each featuring an in-room trainer. Each trainer consists of a mounted fitness wall, resistance bands, an exercise ball, a yoga mat, yoga blocks and 18-plus on-demand fitness videos.

The hotel also features a gym three times the size of a standard hotel gym, complete with natural light and best-in-class, state-of-the-art equipment available to guests 24/7. The hotel also offers same day laundry services for guests' workout clothing.

Guests can count on a wide variety of delicious and healthy foods that are freshly prepared and stocked at the new Cork & Kale Market and Bar. Guests can choose desserts, chocolates, smoothies and organic signature cocktails. Complimentary fruit-infused and filtered waters are available in the lobby.

Additionally, the existing Bananas Grille & Bar will be renovated, with plans to convert the space into a trendy gastropub with outdoor seating.
