Convergint Technologies makes acquisition in Latin America

SCHAUMBURG - Convergint Technologies Thursday said it has acquired Seal Telecom, a systems integration provider with reach throughout Latin America.

Seal Telecom provides audio and video systems, unified communication, smart buildings, broadcast, and fire and security solutions. In September, Seal and Convergint entered into an exclusive strategic partnership to expand and enhance both companies' customer service capabilities across the Latin American region.

"Seal Telecom is a critical addition to our global team. We're well-positioned to provide support to both our local and multinational customers across regions, in alignment with our culture and values," said Ken Lochiatto, CEO of Convergint Technologies.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Seal Telecom brings 20 years of experience and adds over 500 colleagues to the Convergint team, serving Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
