Suburban leaders join Better Business Bureau board

The BBB of Chicago & Northern Illinois recently elected several new suburban business leaders to its board. They are:

• Deen Collins, partner, Gerald Nissan of Naperville. Collins has been in the automobile business 35 years, 25 years in the Chicago area with Gerald Auto Group. he is a 20 year resident of St. Charles.

• Rebecca Fyffe, CEO of Landmark Pest Management, Schaumburg. Fyffe is also the director of research of Landmark, an award-winning green pest control firm. She founded the company in 2008.

• Ed Gjertsen II, founder of Engage Wealth Group LLC, Northfield. A certified financial planner, Gjertsen has guided his clients for more than 25 years, served on the Financial Planning Association's national board of directors and was elected to that organization's executive board in 2014. He resides in Winnetka.

• Michael Magnusson, founder of Pinnacle Advertising, Schaumburg. Pinnacle has grown to become one of the premier full-service retail and automotive advertising agencies in the Midwest.

Also newly elected to the board of directors are Kyle Boot, client service manager at Assurance, Chicago; John Lindner, head of sales, Chicago Tribune Media Group; Michelle Mason, president and CEO of Association Forum, Chicago; and Stuart Thompson, market president for BMO Harris, Chicago.
