Religious radio network moves to Lake County

LINCOLNSHIRE - Brown Commercial Group said it negotiated the sale an office building at 680 Barclay Blvd. in Lincolnshire that will become the headquarters for a national religious radio network.

Relevant Radio Inc. purchased the building for $4 million, the real estate group said. Relevant is a radio network that provides religious programming to approximately 100 stations across the country. The company is consolidating many smaller locations throughout the country and will use this facility as its headquarters.

The 25,229-square-foot office building sits on 5.5 acres. The seller is Union Building Corp., which is moving to a facility currently under construction in downstate Illinois. The building was originally designed and built for the United Auto Workers of America in 2006 and was one of its nine regional facilities around the country.

Senior Broker Mason Hezner of Brown Commercial Group in Elk Grove Village represented the building owner. Rawly Lantz of Cawley Chicago represented the buyer.
