Fusz begins term as Lake County Bar Association president

WAUKEGAN - Joseph M. Fusz, chief of the Cyber Crimes Division and the Special Investigations Division of the Lake County State's Attorney's Office, took office on June 3 for a one-year term as president of the Lake County Bar Association.

Fusz is a longtime LCBA leader. He has previously chaired multiple committees, including the association's Young & New Lawyers Committee and the Civil Trial and Appeals Committee. Fusz has been an active member of the LCBA board of directors for several years, previously serving as a board member, treasurer and vice president.

Fusz is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and Loyola University-New Orleans College of Law. He began his legal career as an assistant state's attorney in Lake County, previously served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and has also worked in private practice in Cook and Lake counties.

He continues to serve as an adjunct faculty member in the Legal Studies Department at the College of Lake County in Grayslake.
