PHC Corp. adds 3-D live cell imaging instruments to its portfolio

WOOD DALE - PHC Corp. of North America Tuesday said it has formed a partnership with Screen Holdings Co. to market and sell Screen's series of live-cell imaging systems in North America.

PHC said these instruments enable 3-D imaging with excellent accuracy using high-speed and noninvasive technology for cellular research, drug discovery, cosmetic and biopharmaceutical applications.

PHC is a leader in laboratory equipment for the biopharmaceutical, life sciences, academic, health care and government markets.

"We are excited to be able to partner with Screen to offer even more innovation to the life sciences industry. (Our) products have delivered excellence in design and unmatched reliability for over 50 years, and we look forward to the success of this partnership," said Hans Brok, president of PHCNA.

The Screen Group traces its history back to the Ishida Kyokuzan Printing Works, a lithographic printing shop founded in Kyoto, Japan, in 1868.
