Edward Jones opens new office in South Elgin

SOUTH ELGIN - Financial adviser Jessica Mendlik opened a new Edward Jones branch earlier this month at 2000 McDonald Road, Suite 250, in the Medical & Legal Arts Building in South Elgin.

Mendlik said she is excited to be opening a new office for a firm that has built a reputation on serving individual investors.

''I'm eager to become acquainted with all the people of South Elgin," Jessica said in a news release. ''I'm looking forward to settling down here, and I am planning to become an active member of the community."

Edward Jones, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in St. Louis, provides financial services in the U.S. and, through its affiliate, in Canada. Every aspect of the firm's business, from the investments its financial advisers offer to the location of branch offices, caters to individual investors.

The firm's nearly 19,000 financial advisers serve more than 7 million clients with a total of $1.7 trillion in assets under care.
