UN chief: Governments must 'act faster' on climate change

UN Secretary General António Guterres says governments around the world are not responding fast enough to address problems of a changing climate. But in an interview with Covering Climate Now, a worldwide consortium of news outlets focusing coverage on climate change this week, he says he sees encouraging signs that citizens are beginning to put the kind of pressure on their leaders that is needed "to make governments understand that they need to run faster."

The interviewers included Mark Herstgaard of Climate Change Now, CBS's Mark Phillips, and Amanda Mars, of El País.
