Lake Zurich to vote Tuesday on final Life Time Fitness plan
Life Time Athletic will be before the Lake Zurich village board Tuesday seeking final plan approval to build a two-story, 125,000-square-foot Life Time Fitness club at 880 N. Old Rand Road, on the site of the former Hackney's restaurant.
Despite vocal opposition from some residents living near the 11-acre property, Life Time received development concept plan approval from the village board in May. Its final plan was recommended unanimously by the village's planning and zoning commission in August.
The village board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at village hall, 70 E. Main St. Meetings also are webcast at https://LakeZurich.org/LifeStream and Facebook Live.
