Barrington's NeuroBalance Center will host special event Wednesday

NeuroBalance Center in Barrington is taking limited reservations for a Wednesday afternoon speech by Joe Motz on why he is riding his bicycle 6,500 miles across the country to raise awareness for Parkinson's disease.

The event is 3 to 5 p.m. Jimmy Choi, a three-time American Ninja Warrior contestant living with Parkinson's disease, also is scheduled to share his story.

NeuroBalance Center, at 1529 S. Grove Ave., serves clients with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and other conditions.
