Chicago Executive Airport offers help with sound proofing

Chicago Executive Airport is introducing its Residential Sound Insulation Program with a presentation from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 12, at the Ramada Inn, 1090 S. Milwaukee Ave.

The federally funded project will provide qualifying homes near the airport with sound insulating materials such as new windows, doors and ventilation systems.

All are invited to attend the meeting, where an overview of the project will be presented, including a general timeline and information on what may qualify a home for construction improvements.

Question can be directed to the project manager, Penny Merritt, by emailing pmerritt@cscos.com, or calling (847) 947-8392 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
