Naperville driver services facility closes due to COVID-19 case

The Illinois driver services facility in Naperville has temporarily closed due to an employee's testing positive for COVID-19, officials announced in a news release.

The facility at 931 W. 75th St., Suite 161, will be shuttered until Thursday, Nov. 19, so it can be disinfected and sanitized according to CDC guidelines. Employees are being quarantined for 14 days.

As a reminder, Secretary of State Jesse White has extended expiration dates for driver's licenses and ID cards to Feb. 1, 2021.

Naperville-area drivers can visit the nearest other facilities, which include 339 E. Indian Trail Road, Aurora, or 837 S. Westmore B27, Lombard.

Many services, such as renewing license plate stickers and safe drive renewals, can be accessed online at cyberdriveillinois.com.
