Batavia hosts Restaurant Week

BATAVIA - The city of Batavia, Batavia Chamber of Commerce and Batavia MainStreet are presenting Batavia's fifth Annual Restaurant Week, promoting dining in Batavia during Batavia Restaurant Madness, March 20-24.

Batavia residents and businesses should have received in the mail a postcard with a coupon for 20 percent off dining bill during the week. Coupons can also be printed off the website at cityofbatavia.net/restaurantweek, Downtownbatavia.com, and bataviachamber.org.

"Creating and promoting Restaurant Week has been a collaborative effort involving the City of Batavia, Batavia MainStreet, the Batavia Chamber of Commerce and, of course, many of the City's fabulous restaurateurs," said Chris Aiston, Batavia's Economic Development Consultant. "It's a great event to entice our residents and business community to break cabin fever and get out and take in our local fare."

The website hosts a listing of the participating restaurants with their addresses, phone numbers and links to their menus. Information can also be found on the Facebook page www.facebook.com/BataviaRestaurantMadness and by following the Twitter feeds @BataviaRestWeek.
