MCC offers evening Supervisory Leadership Series

CRYSTAL LAKE - McHenry County College's Workforce, Community and Business Programs is accepting registrations for the Developmental Dimensions International's Supervisory Leadership Series.

The series will take place from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning Oct 18 through Dec. 13 and will be taught by DDI certified professionals.

Making a successful transition from individual contributor to leader requires strong interpersonal skills. In today's highly competitive environment, organizations must be able to jump-start the productivity of their new leaders. The DDI Supervisory Leadership curriculum accelerates the development of these important people skills. This series is appropriate for new and seasoned leaders. The series weekly topics include: Communicating for Leadership Success, Getting Started as a New Leader, Resolving Conflict, Delegating for Results, Setting Goals and Reviewing Performance, Coaching for Improvement, Building an Environment of Trust and Achieving Your Leadership Potential.

Participants can register for individual courses or the entire series. The eight-course series fee is discounted by 10 percent at $1,188. Use course code: NTL S22 002 to register. The fee for an individual course is $165. Contact the Shah Center individual course detail information.

The Workforce, Community and Business Programs courses are also available for on-site training at a company's facility and customizable for their needs.
