As HST Materials Inc. in Elk Grove Village prepares to celebrate 30 years in business, it is also expanding its operations with a second shift.
HST Materials, a custom die-cutter and fabricator will mark 30 years in business on Nov. 20, 2017, said Owner and President Kathryn Miller. HST supplies sponge and dense rubber, foam, plastic and tape gasket solutions for the OEM market, including the automotive, appliance, lighting and industrial products markets.
"We are extremely proud to celebrate 30 years in the gasket fabrication industry," Miller said. "We have had the pleasure of developing relationships with a variety of customers and vendors, which has led to our successful growth throughout three decades. We look forward to continued growth and expansion."
In order to meet the needs of its expanding customer base, HST Materials plans to add staff, create a second shift to its workdays and add new die-cutting equipment to its manufacturing operations. Miller is anticipating 2017 sales growth of at least 22 percent over last year and another 12 percent in 2018.
"We are committed to continue investing in our company to improve productivity, expand products and services and stay competitive in our industry," Miller said.
HST's capabilities include die cutting, slitting, rotary die cutting, dieless cutting, kiss cutting, laminating and parts assembly. Through overseas partnerships, HST also offers molded and extruded rubber parts. HST's large volume purchasing of sheet goods resulted in being named Preferred Converter by 3M Corp. and Major Converter by Rogers Corp.
