Semblex Corp. president to retire

ELMHURST - Semblex Corp. President Don Cunningham will retire in the first quarter of next year, the company announced. Tuesday.

Cunningham, who has led the company since 2010, will continue as a member of the Semblex board of directors and as a part time adviser to the company.

He will be succeeded by Jinsoo Kim, chief operating officer at Semblex since the company's acquisition by Jinhap Company, Ltd in early 2014. Previously, Kim was a senior vice president at Jinhap in South Korea.

In addition, Gene Simpson will assume the role of senior vice president and COO. Simpson is a 27-year veteran at Semblex, most recently serving as vice president of engineering and quality. Reporting to Simpson will be quality, engineering, sales and marketing and operations.
