DuPage Credit Union promotes Welsh, Hickey

DuPage Credit Union announced senior vice president of sales Sue Welsh has been promoted to senior vice president of residential lending and organizational sales.

Residential Lending Specialist Assistant Manager Nora Hickey was also promoted to residential lending sales manager.

Welsh, who came to the credit union one year ago with an extensive background in the mortgage and retail banking industries, will oversee the credit union's mortgage team. The group has been ranked the number one credit union mortgage lender in DuPage, Kane and Kendall counties for six consecutive years by the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.

"We have a really strong management team and a lot of opportunities for members in the current mortgage environment with product, pricing and service," she added.

Hickey is a 12-year team member of the credit union and will oversee specialists at the Naperville Operations Center. She will work closely with the mortgage team representative at the credit union's three branch office locations.

Hickey's expertise in the mortgage field and exemplary member service has earned her five consecutive Five-Star Mortgage Professional Awards. This award is given each year to less than 7% of mortgage professionals in the Chicago metropolitan area.
