County health clinic grand opening Friday in Arlington Heights

Cook County officials will cut the ribbon Friday to mark the opening of the Cook County Health Arlington Heights Health Center on the north side of the village.

The 25,000-square-foot outpatient facility at 3250 N. Arlington Heights Road, Suite 300, includes 25 exam rooms, dental space and a lab. Services provided include chronic disease management, health education classes, immunizations, mammography, obstetrics, pediatrics, prenatal care, primary care for children and adults, and WIC nutrition services.

Cook County Health CEO Jay Shannon, Mayor Tom Hayes and five county commissioners are scheduled to attend the 10 a.m. ribbon cutting.

The facility is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
